All our events are singles stableford (for individual competitions) or better ball stableford (for team/pairs competitions) played off 85% handicap.

Based on the last 2 editions, total stableford points in the low-mid 60s over 2 rounds gives you a strong chance of qualifying in the top 5/6 places & into the final.

The S.G Order of Merit (OoM) is new for the 2025 season and offers an alternative pathway to our grand finale at Beau Desert.

Order of Merit (OoM) Points: Players who consistently perform well across the season accumulate points to earn one of the limited spots reserved for the OoM standings. This system rewards consistency and top performances in various categories, giving more players a chance to shine.

Players earn points based on their finishing position in qualifier event and by winning Nearest the Pin, Long Drive and Lowest Gross (amongst many more things!)

We welcome golfers of all ability although to be eligible for prizes you must play off the maximum handicap limit of 28.

We also instil an 85% handicap allowance which helps to even out the playing field & make the events as fair as possible.

See Stats above from previous years/winners.

To reiterate, higher handicaps are welcome but must play off 28.

Golfers without an official WHS handicap are welcome to play but will not be eligible for prizes at each event or qualification to the next round of the tournament (if applicable).

However you are able to participate and win prizes in the ‘Longest Drive’ & ‘Nearest the Pin’ competitions held throughout all our events.

Yes you can request to play with certain people in your 4 ball if you wish. Please contact us to arrange this or let us know your 'Playing Partners' in the event registration form when booking.

Weekend/ Overnight Events Caddies are allowed at all our weekend events but we don't typically have them at the 2 day/overnight qualifiers. If you'd like to bring one please contact us prior to booking to ensure we can cater for them.

Finals Day
We do however encourage caddies at our finals day (you may have seen on our promo/highlights video) as it makes for a great occasion. There is no fee to bring a Caddie to finals day at it is just a day event.

N.B
There would be a fee for caddies or non-playing guests at weekend events to cover the cost of their overnight stay and food.

Caddies are not required at any of our events but you are welcome to bring a caddie or non-playing guest if you wish.

If you are fortunate enough to qualify for the final (where applicable), we do encourage Caddies at our finals day as it makes for a great occasion.

Payment Types
We accept a number of standard options including Debit & Credit cards, Paypal & Apple/Google pay.

Deposits
We also offer the option of a £50 deposit to secure your spot. If you choose to pay in this way we will contact you to collect the remaining balance 4-6 weeks before the event.

Event tickets are fully refundable provided you cancel no later than 6 weeks before the event. You can still cancel up to 2 weeks before but you would lose your deposit as we cannot guarantee we could fill your spot.

We operate 3 refund policies based on the time in which a purchase is cancelled. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more information.

Yes!

There is no limit to how many qualifiers you can enter. We've had people enter two or even three events to try and get through to the final.

Things you can expect may include;
Golf gloves, golf polos, sweatshirts, towels, balls, caps, bucket hats, tees & tins, ball markers, headcovers, sweets/chocolate, snacks & beers.

Our carefully put together Player's Packs have grown a bit of a reputation over the years as we like to add a personal & premium touch to our events.

We don’t typically offer non-accommodation tickets for weekend events as we feel you lose a bit of the SG experience by not doing so.

We do however reserve a few 'day-tickets' at a reduced price but these are very much subject to availability.

Qualifier Events
Please refer to each event page for more details but there is a main prize for 1st place at each qualifier event as well as prizes for 2nd & 3rd place.

The Final at Beau Desert
1st place prize of £2,500 and pays down to 5th place! Plus £10,000 Hole in 1!

NTP & LD
As well as the main tournaments, we also run 'Longest Drive' and 'Nearest the Pin' competitions at all our events with great prizes to be won!

As well as our usual Long Drive & Nearest The Pin competitions, we are also running a £10,000 Hole-In-One across all our qualifiers as well as the finale! Put the champagne on Ice 🍾

All our multi-day event qualifiers have slightly different start times dependent on the specific event you are attending. Day 1 tee slots begin no earlier than 11am and day 2 tees typically start from 9am.

All tee times will be released 1-2 weeks before the event via phone/email. If you have any specific tee time requests or queries please contact us and we will do our best to help!

If you have a preference for an early, late or specific tee time, please advise us upon completion of your purchase. We will do our best to arrange a tee time to meet your request. All tee times will be released 1-2 weeks before the event via email/phone.

We will release tee times 1-2 weeks before the event. Once confirmed, we will contact you by email/phone with all the latest event details, updates and tee times.

Where applicable, you may opt out of any prizes that may negate your amateur status dependent on the specific event you are registering for.

All tickets for multi-day events include 1 night accommodation in a twin room (2 per room). We will liase with you prior to the event to ensure you are rooming with a friend. Please make sure to contact us if you have any urgent requests. You can also notify us of any room requests in the notes section when you make a purchase.

Single Rooms

Alternatively, if you wish to have your own room, most hotels offer a single room supplement fee (subject to availability) which we can arrange on your behalf.

N.B. The typical cost of single room occupancy at our events is ∼£50-60pp but this may differ between each hotel.

Finish top 6 & qualify for the Beau Desert final but can't / can no longer attend?

Your spot will be awarded to the next best/ 7th placed finisher at your qualifier event.

In these unfortunate circumstances, we will reward you with free credit that can be put towards any website purchase.

You'll also no doubt acquire a friend for life in the shape of the 7th placed finisher 😂
